KW:
Dear American People:
They tricked you on the bank bailout, don’t get tricked again
I guess I am identifying a lot as an American, because our country keeps getting screwed, so it is as an American that I am in the same boat with a lot of other downtrodden people.
I was in shock that the bailout of banks went through, and that even during the presidential campaign, both parties agreed to give all that money to the banks. I felt absolutely robbed.
Now, here comes a bailout of the car industry. I can’t believe the audacity of the government and mainstream media in lobbying and frightening people into agreeing to this next bailout to corporations and the rich.
I find the recent headline of the AP story about the car industry bailout to be laughable and frightening all at once. “Inaction on Big 3 would cost taxpayers billions” Yeah, well what about other government inaction:
Inaction on Head Start program would cost taxpayers billions.
Inaction on individual home foreclosures would cost taxpayers billions.
Inaction on redefining the liability of corporations would cost taxpayers billions.
Inaction on adequately enforcing environmental laws would cost taxpayers billions.
Inaction on campaign finance reform would cost taxpayers billions…
How come we have never seen these warning in the AP headlines?
Stand by, fellow Americans, to be robbed again. Some are too big to fail. And, some are too little to win.
